The Art of Engagement opens
An experiential learning environment to help influential companies to better engage their employees has opened in Milton Keynes.
As AV Systems Integrator, DJW has created a show that will help inspire visitors. Visitors are taken through a presentation by Best Companies staff before watching an immersive show that sets the scene for the day. This is no ordinary training day.
When the visitors move into the atmospherically lit main hall, they are escorted to the eight different zones where they encounter a short film; touch screen interactives where they decide on fair working practise; listen to stories of great, and not so great leaders; consider their personal growth in a poly tunnel theatre; play interactive games using infra-red sensors and hidden cameras and microphones; read stories; and get inside the head of a disgruntled employee - a theatre with screens as eyes.
The visitors then move to the ‘Doing Rooms’, where a Best Companies interactive on Panel PCs shows them how they can turn what they have learnt into real changes for their workplace. Their ideas are then transferred to the Strategic Theatre where they can share them with the rest of the visitors.
DJW has integrated all these into a Show Control system. This allows Zone Hosts to use lighting and vibrating paging cues to move groups of visitors from one timed zone to another.
DJW has designed and provided systems to display media, presentations and interactives from production company Centre Screen, along with interactives from interactive exhibit company Kiss the Frog. The temporary building and lighting were installed by Neptunus and Anagram. Clement & Street provided fit out contractor services and Jon Hall was the Project Director.
