Prince William visits newly re-opened HMS Alliance
A few of weeks after the submarine was formally re-opened, Prince William visited, in his role as the patron of the conservation appeal that raised the money for the submarine’s restoration.
DJW has recently spent a number of weeks tucked into the tight space of the submarine, installing an audio system to bring the sub to life, and re-animating many of the dials and lights so that they run under show control.
