Five AV Awards Finalists!
It what must be a record, DJW has produced five finalists in the 2013 AV Awards. These projects span four different categories, with four projects from Manchester, London and Hungary.
DJW’s work at the new National Football Museum is a finalist in the Consumer Installation of the Year, and AV-IT Integration Project of the Year. The first of these categories marks out DJW’s performance in creating a great overall experience through quality integration of the AV. The AV-IT integration category highlights the integrated ticketing system created by DJW to manage visitor flow through premium interactives and provide an income stream for the museum.
DJW’s other finalist in the Consumer Installation of the Year category is The View from the Shard. DJW integrated a premium experience for visitors, from the video walls on the ceilings of the lifts to the ticketing information.
DJW’s finalist in the Business Installation of the Year is a tribute to the immersive client experience that DJW created for clients considering transmission purchases at Allison Transmissions in Hungary.
And DJW’s contribution to London 2012 rounds out the finalist list. Nearly 47,000 people visited BP’s Olympic Park Showcase during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, where they were treated to an immersive experience that was then dismantled after the games. This is a finalist in the Green or Environmental Project of the Year for DJW’s commitment to sound environmental practices.
