DJW wins the Grand Prix Award and the Systems Company of the Year of AV Awards 2010!
In a record breaking year, DJW also won the Best Educational Project over £50 000 at the Awards Dinner on Friday the 8th of October.
The Grand Prix Award was a Judges’ Award, nominated and chosen from the 22 Award winners. According to the criteria, it is given to the winner whose entry shows most evidence of technical and creative innovation; innovation and business practices of benefit to the sector as a whole; market development and industry leadership; documented business objectives and results.
For the Systems Company of the Year Award, DJW highlighted not only work done at Centre of the Cell in London, but also for ring˚werk at the Nürburgring; the Art Fund Prize winning Ulster Museum; and the crowd-pleasing World of Top Gear exhibition at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu; amongst others. To win Systems Company of the Year, DJW had to excel in criteria covering service levels and technical expertise over a range of projects, with the award focussing on the innovative nature of the installation work.
DJW’s Directors were on hand to pick up the Awards. David Willrich said:
“To win the Systems Company of the Year Award is a testament to the great skills and dedication of the whole DJW team; but to achieve the accolade of the ultimate Grand Prix Award was the icing on the cake and brought a huge sense of achievement. I’m thrilled to have our work recognised in this way. We worked with our clients to complete some fantastic projects last year, and we have more in the pipeline, both in the UK and overseas.“
Five other finalists were beaten to win the Best Educational Project over £50 000 prize, the third prize won for the software and AV integration in Centre of the Cell, as well as the Education Project prize at the M&H awards.
DJW has had a fantastic 2009-10, completing some of its largest and most innovative projects to win an unprecedented number of awards. And next year is looking to be just as good!
