DJW Projects on shortlist for M&H Awards
DJW is very proud to have Titanic Belfast shortlisted in the Permanent Exhibition category of the Museums & Heritage Awards. Titanic Belfast uses AV integrated by DJW to tell the story of the design and building of Titanic, right on the site of the dock yards where it happened. Projections, screens, audio and a dark ride bring the history to life, while a multi-screen theatre, with a video link to research vessels, draws visitors into the immediacy of current oceanic research.
The spinning 360 degree theatre with show lighting and special effects that was integrated by DJW for BP’s Pavilion at the Olympic and Paralympic Games makes the shortlist for the Sustainability Award. DJW created a system that minimised energy usage, while being simple for the client team to operate, greatly contributing to the sustainability of the Showcase Pavilion.
The National Football Museum is on the Marketing Campaign Award shortlist for its opening campaign. DJW helped make the campaign that bit easier with stunning AV displays and interactives in beautifully lit galleries.
DJW projects have had great success at previous M&H Awards and Titanic Belfast has already won a prize at the InAVation Awards. We wish all three clients well for the Ceremony and hope to celebrate with them at the DJW-sponsored After Awards Party! The ceremony will be on 15 May, as part of the Museums & Heritage Show.
